The Priessnitz (wet steam) wrap helps with:

How to use the Priessnitz wrap?
Soak the inner cotton pad in cold water (for children, choose slightly colder water, not ice water).
Wring it out thoroughly and place it in the wrap belt. Place it on the body and secure with Velcro so that the wrap adheres to the body as best as possible and its effect can be as great as possible.
Do not leave the Priessnitz wrap on overnight!! The wrap should also not be applied to infected areas, poorly healing wounds, skin diseases such as eczema, and so on. In the case of applying the wrap to small children, it is better to consult a doctor first.
