We use the Priessnitz (wet) wrap for:

Dry-warm wrap (we recommend using heating pads to increase the effect) is used for:
– Colds without fever
– Bronchitis without fever
– Wet cough

Since our straps are multipurpose, i.e. they can be used not only as a Priessnitz compress, but also as a dry warm wrap, we also offer heating pillows. The pillows are filled with natural materials in BIO quality, such as buckwheat hulls or cherry pits.

To prepare the Priessnitz wrap, place the inner cotton pad in cold water; for children, use less cold water. Place the well-wrung cotton piece on the chest area – bronchi, then put on the wrap and fasten the front and back of the wrap with Velcro to ensure it adheres to the body as best as possible. The top of the wrap should completely cover the cotton pad. Do not leave the Priessnitz wrap on overnight!! The wrap should also not be applied to infected areas, poorly healing wounds, skin diseases such as eczema, and so on. In the case of applying the wrap to small children, it is better to consult a doctor first.
A dry – warm wrap can be used as a wrap alone, but to increase the effect of the heat, you can heat the inner cotton piece, for example by ironing. Our recommendation is to use heating pillows, which you can also conveniently heat in the microwave – specifically cherry stones.
